Richard Harris

Mr. Harris is a Managing Director and the Head of Business Development at Petra Funds Group. Prior to Petra, he was a Managing Director at HSBC Securities where he helped build the firm’s middle market and large cap Financial Sponsor team.  He is based in New York. Prior to HSBC Securities, Mr. Harris held senior roles at UBS and Range Global and began his career at Bear Stearns where he helped lead risk management of the firm’s NYSE floor trading operations. Mr. Harris has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He received a B.A in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
