Tamara Close

Ms. Close is a Senior Director at Petra Funds Group. With over 25 years of combined experience in financial markets and ESG strategy, she has worked with fund managers and asset owners across public and private asset classes. Ms. Close joined Petra from Close Group Consulting, a global boutique ESG strategy and due diligence advisory firm which she founded in 2017. Prior to that, she was Head of ESG Integration for KKS Advisors, a global ESG Advisory firm, and spent a decade in senior leadership roles at PSP Investments. Ms. Close has also held various investment management positions at the Bank of Montreal and Credit Lyonnais. She is an experienced board member and a member of the Global ESG Technical Committee for CFA Institute. Ms. Close has a Bachelor’s in Economics from McGill University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the John Molson School of Business.
